The remote control comes without batteries, so you can buy AAA batteries in advance. It shines quite brightly, and there are a lot of color options. All buttons on the remote work. Review: BEST LAMP I EVER HAD🤭!!! It has so many colors to choose from and u can also adjust the brightness!! You have to assemble it but don't be worried it's easy (you have to push a bit harder to connect the light bulb to the stick). To be honest i was a bit skeptical about the quality but it's really good!! 🎀 I would 100% recommend this lamp its so pretty😊😊 <33
