Designed to remove coil-over shock absorbers, including MacPherson struts and high-resilience conical springs. The 4,500 kg model includes three interchangeable yokes (gold, black, and silver) that cover clamping ranges from 2.6" to 12.8", adapting to a wide range of springs. The 1,200 kg model features adjustable goodty brackets from 8.6" to 12.2", which adjust in parallel and reduce the risk of uneven compression. Both models include superior goodty features: the triple protection system includes anti-shedding tabs, protective sleeves, and locking rings that prevent the spring from unexpectedly releasing. This structure offers stability and confidence during operation. Both tools are made of heat-treated, hardened #45 steel, providing high resistance to deformation, fracture, and bending. The jaws of the 1200 kg model are also nickel-plated to prevent rust in harsh environments. The 4500 kg model operates with a 7/8" (22 mm) socket, while the 1200 kg model uses a 3/4" socket. Both require pre-lubrication of the threads and manual operation without impact tools to ensure good and consistent work during spring compression. Key Differences The XC4027A (4500 kg) model features a more robust construction, three interchangeable yokes, and compatibility with a wider range of springs, with a net weight of 15.8 kg. The XC6455 model (1200 kg) is lighter (4.55 kg), more compact, and features adjustable clamps with a locking ring, ideal for quick jobs on light vehicles. They also differ in the compatible tool: 7/8" for the more powerful model and 3/4" for the compact one.
